Mission Statement sticky icon

Our mission is to work to promote judicial reform, human rights, democratic principles, advocacy, gender equality, and independent judiciary.

Overview and Vision

Codjust, is to provide exceptional platform where professional organizations can team up to push the common agenda for reform in the justice system. Our work will focus not only in Port-au-Prince, but also in the low socio-economic backgrounds in these underserved communities in rural areas of Haiti.

Indeed, the main reason for starting this non-profit organization is to give back! Giving back to our community is so important and something we should all find a way to do in our own way. With the greatest humility, I want to share my knowledge and experience to help strengthen this area of need and weakness in Haiti.

We think people should run away from the culture of choosing zero instead of taking 60% of a hundred on the negotiation tables. At Codjust we support the idea of getting 15% of a hundred each time we can to get things done, maybe slowly but surely, over time. Coalition is an important tool in strengthening the foundation of the will to compromise and support change in communities. Which will empower interested parties to make and form alliances to push to get things done, thus improving their lives, that of their family, and their communities.
